I'll make a confession. I'm currently reading The Girl of Fire and Thorns series. This song was inspired by a particular line in The Crown of Embers in which the main character is reflecting on the people who have given their lives for her, and how many more may yet do so.

That's why I added an external link in the description. All my tracks have been like that. I have no idea what the issue is.
