Superpositions collapsing in all directions... what was in that groovy gonzo gravy again?

a CHUNKchunk jam
Jason Mauer - melodic chunk
Murray Gusseck - percussive chunk

This is awesome, what did you make it on?

Welcome back! Your participation was missed.

This is keeping me on my toes. You've got gorgeously clean production and a total mindfuck of compositional elements happening. +1 for Murray beats!

Thanks! This was from a live improvisation using Ableton Live to loop -- I play the synth parts & guitar and sequence the loops while my percussive comrade Murray gives the drums the beating they crave. (I'm pretty sure all the synth patches on this one are from the Arturia V-Collection; I play them from a Lumatone controller because I love my hexagons.)

I edited the jam down to taste (a process I like to call... chunking) and to fit the file size limit. (The editing is strictly removal of audio chunks.) I actually have a video recording of the jam -- I'll see if I can get that posted here as an extended edition for those that want to subject their eyeballs to that sort of thing.

Thanks! Glad to be back -- past couple weeks were a bit of a blender. All those compositional elements are what emerged from our limbs in real time -- it may jostle the brain when that gravy is gonzo.

This is great.
The drums just hold everything in place, and the exploration is hypnotic. Love when it switches up to.

Damn and wow

Good to have you back!

Really sick journey you've managed to capture with this one!

These drums are fucking excellent 👌
