Wow, can't believe it's the end of the year, definitely one of the craziest years of my life, I'm sure the same for many of you. Congrats to everyone that made the 52, certainly almost gave up a few times. I will miss listening to and catching up with many of you during the year, always get inspired and amazed by all the creativity found on this site.
One of my goals was to improve on my drums this year, I do feel that I have gained a greater grasp of sequencing and mixing the drums in ableton. Did not achieve my goal of distancing myself from the laptop and work more on hardware, poor gear mostly sat around collecting dust.
Will miss the rush of when pieces of the music come together just right, another part of me is also relieved that I got no deadlines for next week, I just want to sit back and listen to music for awhile, have a stack of 60-70 records that still haven't made it to the turntable. Peace and love to all the weeklybeats contributors, you guys/gals are awesome, I hope there will be a weeklybeats 2022, stay healthy and safe, see you next time!
