smoulder

This one changed every time I fired up the laptop, the end is nowhere near where I started, but little pieces still made it through from each attempt.  Tried again to start with no beat, didn't work as well, but about half was done before the beat was made.

This synth that starts at the very beginning of the track, slightly sliding in the highs - that synth gives a lot of personality to the track, especially in contrast to the lower layers and lower strings. There is also that vocal like synth that adds a really nice touch. I enjoyed this one!

The distorted guitar-like synth has a nice grittiness to it.  I like the chords that are lying underneath all that grittiness.  With the spooky choir it creates a mysterious atmosphere.

This is dope af, the chords at 1:40 do something awesome, can't believe they work w/ that bass moments after -- I kinda wonder what it would be if you spent more time w/ them + the beat before bringing the bass in, could be an opportunity to do an alt baseline / bridge-type function (without sounding explicitly like "the bridge"). Cool track.

Got that "fearlessly walking through the valley of the shadow of death" vibe to it, such a great vibe! big_smile

This has a such nice dirty sound.  Love the vocals here.  This would fit right in with a Baz lurhmann soundtrack.
