Polyrhodes

I got a new plugin this week! Korg Polysynth which is meant to be a synthwave bass staple or something? Anyway I don't mind it but I'm having trouble making it really punch through. Good learning song for it.

For this kind of track, I'd really sectionalise it and do more builds and stuff, but for the sake of this weekly thing I'm keeping these around 2 minutes so I'm not killing myself big_smile

Hope you enjoy it!

your production, sound design and mixing are top notch, man

this somehow manages to sound super lush and crisp at the same time

I love that main melody and the underlying arpeggios, and that degraded guitar (that's what it is yeah?) sounds like a daft punk vocal line (actually I thought it was a vocal at first).

Nice smile

I think keeping it brief is a good idea for these. Especially when everyone on here is going to listen to 250+ submissions for the first quarter or so. When the number of participants drops down to <100, that's a good time to dig into longer form.

this track is building and going places. into it

Nice stuff!! Digging these sounds so much! big_smile

Whoa! Instant feels heart

Awesome track! I especially like the outro, even if it came too soon heart

lickity!

and in between 2 to 3 minutes matches peoples attention spans too so good call there wink

As expected, super fresh and great sound design/mix.

imo, it's a vocal line, just not made with vocals
