For What It's Worth (Anna's Theme)

It's J-RPG time again, which mean Jai was struggling to find the music vibes.

Have you ever been so moved and inspired by certain music, but when you try to use said inspiration in your own music, it always feels comparatively lacking? Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel whenever I do a video game theme.

There are so many amazing video game themes that have been burned into my brain over the years from many hours exploring worlds and such, but whenever I try to do something along those lines, I don't feel that same spark that I did when playing the games. I'm not sure if it's just me being typically critical of myself, or because they are objectively inferior (or both). To be fair, they usually have accomplished composers creating those themes, so yeah... hmm

This piano workout is dope. The idea is to try to evoke emotion from someone else. All I know is this makes me want to know more about Anna and whether this is happy Anna or sad Anna or if she's just complex.
