Time Will Heal

By Jai Cafarella on January 19, 2020 12:40 pm

To juxtapose last week, this is the style of music I end up writing when I have an acoustic guitar and a need to express my emotions. It was supposed to be a simple acoustic guitar + vocal track, but then I got an idea, then another idea, and so on... But that's what this is about, getting those creative juices flowing and getting results!

This track has achieved it's purpose for this weeks submission, but I will likely revisit this one in the near future for a little refinement.

Big thanks again to fellow WeeklyBeater Nyarlos for a quick master. I gotta learn me some of that stuff =oP

Lyrics:

We share an energy nobody understands
Analyzed and criticised, our hearts are on remand
But how we feel is how we feel

In secrets and shadows we hide from judgement's eyes
Don't be ourselves or risk being ostracised
Time will do what time will do

Time will feel, longer than we may want it to
Time will heal, maybe not how we want it to be

Magnetic souls, we are slaves to natures call
But zero approval, is this our curtain call?
If time takes you, what will I do?

Time will feel, longer than we may want it to
Time will heal, maybe not how we want it to be

Time will do, but I'll miss you

Time will feel, longer than we may want it to
Time will heal, maybe not how we want it to
Time will feel, longer than we may want it to
Time will heal, maybe not how we want it to
How we want it to
How we want it to
How we want it to be

Your only problem is you are taking this way too seriously my bro. You making me look bad with all my ridiculous shit. Lovely tune, good ideas, well executed. Top Notch.

Lovely work Jai, great production too.

Damn bro, I feel this shit. It’s like my life right now. It’s beautiful. You’ve put music and words to my feelings/emotions. This is golden.

fav'd. This reaches me!

So heartfelt. Be careful that those little refinements don't dull the expressiveness.
