So this is 2022, I guess...?

Easing in with a simple little J-RPG inspired offering. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this one, I feel like it's missing a little something, but it is what it is, and it's better to start with something than nothing.

Let's do this!

On the case, good first week, cant wait to see what we get on to this year

I feel the J-RPG here. Brings back memories of 黄金の太陽 開かれし封印

Nice one. This track just triggered a heap of FFVII memories lol.

definite RPG vibes, after you killed the mid-boss and you return to the war-torn city

I never did get around to Golden Sun, but I have no doubts it shares stables with those I did play and drew inspiration from smile

Bingo! 90's Square/Squaresoft is my jam, and the strongest influence behind my lazy J-RPG throw togethers big_smile

Yes, I had similar thoughts in mind! smile A bittersweet victory; you won, but there was a heavy cost...

For me personally, Golden Sun was the first and only J-RPG I had access to, so it feels like the prototype. Later I’ve learned how much it owns to previous games.

I’m sure. The J-RPG genre seems cohesive and recognizable, both musically and in the kinds of places the levels portray. Listening to your track again, I want to play some smile

Same.  I keep meaning to go through Chrono Trigger.

A massive temporal investment, but what better to use time for than enjoying art?
