My Oblivion

This was an odd one... The melody, bass and drums of the main riff came together pretty quick, so I felt like this would be a breeze. But of course, I managed to get carried away with extra ideas, structure alterations, changing lyric subjects, experimenting with different sounds, etc, and here we are at 4:30am with something somewhat resembling what I was kinda aiming for. I've not purposefully written in metaphor before, so that stumped me more than expected, and the original version was around 6 minutes, but trying the less is more approach, I trimmed a few ideas back. Although I rushed production to finish up, I think it turned out reasonably well for a 'version 1'.
Lyrics:
My sights are filled with alluring flowers, so empowered, take me
Florescent zen where I'm their slave again inside my oblivion
Their petals bloom and I'm fixated, isolated, save me
I'm weak within, give me my sin again, I'm home in my oblivion
My oblivion is me
So many flowers, I can't hold them, I don't own them, free me
Am I to blame for all my shame I hide inside my oblivion
It's far too easy, streams are flowing, never slowing, help me
It's only nature but I'm drowning in my own sweet oblivion
My oblivion is me
