This song has been in a semi-complete acoustic form since 2015, but it never sat quite right with me because writing something this positive felt very off-brand so it has remained on the 'one day' pile. I liked the music though, the build was a bit less generic than my usual, and I couldn't argue that the lyrics did fit the music vibe, so I decided to get it done even though it makes me cringe.
Obviously a little more involved than just acoustic, even possibly to the point of saturation, but I tried to take on the challenge of having many layers while managing to have them each somewhat audible within the mix. I'm not sure if I succeeded or not because after so many listens while working on this, my objectivity has gone numb, I know the layers are there so I can hear them whether they're clearly defined or not, so... *shrug* You be the judge 
Also, if you detect a slight air of dissonance on the last chord, it's because I did two acoustic takes to pan left and right, I ended one side on F#, the other on F#m, partly because I couldn't decide, partly because I like ominousness.
