Light Begins At Shadows End

Rabbit out of a hat time, created from scratch only hours before submissions closed, I'm not even sure what this is!
Being so last minute, I didn't want to bother with tuning guitars, getting all the riffs and leads right, writing lyrics, getting the vocals right, etc, so I thought I'd clear off the ol' MIDI keyboard and make a simple electro track. So, I kinda failed in avoiding vocals/lyrics and guitars, but this is what came from being last minute lazy. I'd like to revisit this one later to tinker and tidy, particularly the vocals, they're a bit rough because my voice is a bit worn from running the theatre show that has been keeping me busy. That's all done and dusted now, so hopefully I can be a little less last minute next week =o)
Although last minute, I consider using the MIDI keyboard/instrument tracks to start writing a song from scratch (as opposed to guitar), and attempting a poppy verse/chorus divided by a grindy pre-chorus as my weekly learning. Also, purposefully not being so rigid with the verse melody phrasing, and just kinda churning it out as it felt right instead of trying to match it to any particular rhythm.
