Another week of proof that I have absolutely no idea what my brand is, because in my attempts to avoid sounding too samey each week, I end up sounding too different, so... there's that...

This could do with some more fleshing-out, I'm not super happy with the build and some of the bits being too basic, so I consider this an idea to maybe one day build on. The chorus melody/lyric just came out randomly, so I tried to fit verse lyrics in line with that, which isn't my strength (positive-ish stuff), so they're pretty half-arsed. For what it is though, I think it has a bit of potential with some tinkering.

Here we are again
Where we all pretend
Everything is fine
Nothing has to end

We can cope like this
Ignorance is bliss
Safe behind our mask
But we can do better

We're surrounded by
Never-ending lies
Hard to find real truth
It's easier to hide

But there's a world out there
Trying to repair
If we all chip in
We make it better

If there's a sun, we'll find a way
