Exotic & Bizarre

The intro riff was written last year when my son (living interstate with his Mother) wanted to attempt collaborating with BandLab to bridge the distance a little. I suggested we each come up with an intro riff, and then swap songs to add to each others. Sadly, this didn't eventuate, as his attention span and patience aren't great, but the riff has popped into my mind from time to time, so I figured WB would be the place to flesh it out a little.
As a typical pattern of mine, this was once again rushed last minute (shock), so I don't feel this as the definitive version by any means, so given some time and refinement down the road, I think this might a have a bit more potential.
Lyrics:
You've been through hell
You know it well
The damage done is dangerous
Stigmatic scars
Fill your memoirs
A self-medicated savior
Oh
Feel the crawling skin
Oh
The visions wearing thin
No
You're about to lose control
You want your life to be exotic and bizarre
Psychosomatically confined by who you are
Your third-degree
PTSD
Dictates the way you live life
You tick like a bomb
Ev'rythings wrong
They wisely keep the distance
Oh
Feel sweat and pain
Oh
Here it comes again
No
You're about to lose control
You want your life to be exotic and bizarre
Psychosomatically confined by who you are
Barely alive at times, you struggle with it all
To my surprise, you never made the call for help
