Ode to Joni

Trying something out of my comfort zone with this one - super stripped back. Recorded guitar and vocals at the same time, one take and no editing.
Acoustic guitar was recorded using the same XY configuration as last week as I quite liked the sound, an NT1 for the vocals - three tracks, no post-take tuning - scary!
I think this approach suits the authenticity of the song, honest and simple - much like the composition itself.
Song is written about becoming a father and the extreme emotions that accompany that journey.
