Go west

This song was made with Output's Brass and Winds plugin, and Arturia Augmented Strings.  I tried to keep it ambient/cinematic, but I always revert back to my dance tunes.

I love the sound of the beat and the place it has in the mix. This kick sounds just right, and supported by a low bass like synth? The brass are very interesting, bringing indeed a cinematic element, somewhere between classic and james bondesque accents. What are the Ahs? Is that a choir plugin? I like the atmosphere of this track, very original!

Thanks !  The choir is a preset from the arturia cm2 synth.  They probably sampled a choir.  I just modulated the filter with an LFO.

Enjoyed the deep brass coming in after about 50 seconds. I also like the way it changes up driven by the change in the drums/ percussion midway through. Definitely cinematic sounding towards the end when the drums are done and the melodic layers all come in.

I listened to a lot of WB content at work this week -- sorry for delay in comments. I think a combination of cinematic, beats, and a touch of chiptune / oldschool synths makes for an excellent orchestration here. Your production is excellent as always, love that beat.

cinematic dancing smile

You got really cool percussion in a lot of your tracks! The mix is really bouncy too.
What sounds like a low throaty choir at the end reminds me of the one used in "Dune" haha
What do you use for the horns?

Thanks a lot dude! I use output brass and winds for all of my horns.  It’s awesome you should check it out, warning though really CPU heavy!!!

Shoot, those low horns sound dope, agree about the nice bounce to everything, I shut the animation off on augmented strings, still killing the CPU
