My wife was painting, and listening to some old James Brown, and Motown.  Was inspired by that sound.  Obviously couldn't recreate it, but thought about using elements from that genre, and fusing them with a dance beat.  Hope you all enjoy!

This one got some proper attitude, sounds great too!

Such a good groove and love that pad throughout. Nice sample horns as well. Takes a nice turn at 2:00

Like how that sustained high pad creeps in, always do a great job at mixing in all these little stabs and filtered elements.

That nice pad is a serum preset I used.  Can’t beat serum.

dope beat. v minor, whereas I would go with something more major/dominant sounding to make it extra funky. cool thumping drums and claps.

That beat is sick. Maybe it sounds like an abstract version of motown, like a Cubist would reinterpret classic painting. That high lead that goes down with a slide wah like sound is really catchy. I like what sounds like sampled brass and the vocals as well, this really is a blast. Awesome track!

Thanks for the input, and the listen.

love the percussion and then secret noises.  almost feels like the track gets faster?!?!?!?  it probably doesn't but now you're making me want to make a dance track that secretly gets faster!

wow you are really good at having a nice last 1/3rd to your track (from what i've been hearing so far!)

which is hard with dance music (at least for me) cause i'm like A/B/A/B/A/B low effort fade out smile
