7th chamber

By J Sangha on June 12, 2022 11:55 pm

I was highly influenced by the bass from 7th chamber pt2 by the Wu.  Came up with a square wave bass, and triangle sub that played throughout the whole song.  Trying to mix a song with all these bass sounds was sort of challenging, and creating a lot of distortion, but always fun to experiment.

Awesome! Sweet basses and I love all the vocal samples interspersed throughout

that clap really slaps! the bass line is nice and those vocals are a perfect addition.

Thanks bud!  This was one of my least favorite songs I made.  Taiko and funkier shit were way better. Listen to those if you haven’t.

One of my fav Wu songs, can see how the bass is influenced by that, like that additional bass that comes in at 1:55, maybe not one of your favourite songs but still a solid submission.

Feeling this, head bobbing. Yeah a great Wu song for inspiration, I can hear that. Dig the vocal chops, This is a fun listen. Gets me up and motivated!

I thought the mixing was really good on this -- comes through on the phone speakers / laptop speakers. I downloaded the track and peeped it through Tonal Balance Control from Isotope and it's perfectly good across averaged "fine" response. Really impressive work here. (I originally typed up a comment and wanted to bump it in the car, which I did, and it sounds great there also, but failed to leave the comment because of this.) heart
