Stop Me

me trying drum and bass...
or sort of internetcore jungle stuff.

i'm honest i had a few stems really that i felt like "the arragement will save this" and then i tried my best and i'm still not really sure i nailed it. i feel like i just always want to hear the amen break

All the elements work, especially the more chaotic arps in the background and the frantic chopping of the sample. Maybe you could've given the progression more time to develop. Vamp on just one chord for a while. Makes it all the more satifying when the full progression drops back in. You nailed the vibe, anyway. Congrats on week 3!

I love the urgent drum n bass with the casual piano chords in the back and that massive bass holding the line.

wild track! esp the first half, not sure after a while if something more should happen. even tho i heard it so many times by now in other ppls beats it's crazy how well the amen break works in this kinda beat. it just keeps crankin, the rest sounds great and gives it even more energy. i never used the amen myself tho, somehow idk, feels overused, even tho when i hear it in other ppls stuff it's never a problem.

the vibe is on point, chords plus bassline together are chefs kiss !
