second week. thats probably the last time i will write which week it is. this track was very different to me then the first. this was made with a very clear set time frame and very clear mindset of "this has to be done now". inspiration, even if i felt any really, came when i was in the middle of it. a true testament of waiting for inspiration doesn't work or at least is something that doesn't work for me.
The sample you here throughout the track is from a playstation 1 beach volleyball game.

I love the way everything spreads out around 40s. The ps1 sample is great too with it's percussion-like quality mixed with the snare. Yeah, about waiting for inspiration, this has been one of my biggest takeaways from weeklybeats. Butts in seats and doing the work is what makes it happen! Thanks for making this one! wink

Theres a certain kinda magic that happens when the inspo hits during a struggle session. For some reason this got me thinking Tecmo Bowl

It has a nice energy to it that makes it fun to listen to.  WB has definitely taught me that the best way to make inspiration happen is to sit down and do it even when (and maybe especially when) you don't feel inspired.

We should do a LAN Party at some point. Locked in low-poly-combat. Your track is getting me hyped for that.

Love the video game sample! Really liked the occasional switches to half time and how they mixed it up.

Dang, what a tune! I love the energy you created here, really fits the voice sample. smile
Also, i am the same when it comes to inspiration. Usually it only strikes after i dabble with some sounds or melodies/chords.
