I think I've been listening to too much Daft Punk/70's funk/terrible 80's hip hop.
A tongue-in-cheek funk track for this week. I tried rapping. Hmm.
Sorry to the guy I stole the bassline from. I will find you and thank you one day. Please don't sue me.
Built upon the intro drum beat (thanks Danny) which I recorded through a Rode iXY mic, then expanded from there with sampled drums and some tasty harmonies. Also thanks to Jerome for the funky guitars and horns.
There is more to do on this track to make it totally 'complete', but this is all I could get done this week!
All done in Pro Tools.
