For M, or The manual to properly grate one's skin

" But I did not yet know, at that time, how tender the earth can be for those who have only her and how many graves in her giving, for the living." Samuel Beckett.

I used a 40106 chip, a few ldrs, random resistors and capacitors to make a pretty little oscillator and Live. and instructions from Nic Collin's book: Handmade electronic music, chapter 18: The world's simplest circuit...and notes from music tech year 12 fun times.

I'm much happier now, because the week did not consist of me failing to get sound. Stick with something simple, and build up from there. lesson learnt.

I want this book.

I loved it. Some great sounds and wonderful processing, mixed with the charm expected from an-almost 50 percent duty cycle pulse waveform. Nice structure, too.

Nicholas Collins forever.

Seb, I think your new year's resolution's working already.
Thanks though! /replaces quran with Nic Collin's book

great atmosphere.

Cool. DIY FTW.

I would say your best so far.  Sounds more focused.  Good stuff!

Oh, and the Beckett quote.... I'm in a band called Molloy which is all based on the novel of the same name by Beckett.  If you're local, you'll have to check us out live one time!  Ryan is the mastermind behind the band and he's on here too doing some great tracks.

Definitely one of your best tracks on WB yet, sounds real good!

Thanks guys!wow so unexpected.
@rdomain, for sure! Love Beckett! and I think I've seen Ryan's work around here! thanks for the heads up!

love it, even though it made me queasy. i'll take some uplifting ambiance next week, thanks. wink
