Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Nothing serious, but it was written in a rush to get out of town on headphones, so there are just a few tweaks I want to make.
Sweeet... really cool arrangement and sounds. So springy and percussive like imagining alien jazz. Some of the sounds are very reminiscent of FM synthesis like from a DX7.

I can't remember everything I used now... lol but I'm pretty sure most of the synths are all FM8, stemming from an old DX7 flute patch I completely destroyed. So good ear!
Time is rarely on our sides in weekly beats. Still impressed with how this one came out. A lot is happening, and it sounds really great

The slight dissonance adds just the right amount of bite.
Sweet sounds as usual, it works! Agree with Jim Wood, a little dissonance in there to spice things up. And with the gif's on this page ... it's party time!
