I'm not sure what you were thinking when you made the space buns parts, but everything else is real nice.
The snake is getting its freak on at the end, nice funky atonal ending.
Parts of this wouldn't sound out of place in a Perfume track. Really like it.
When I saw the title I didn't think I'd want to snuggle the snake, but the hat and mustache makes him oddly inviting. Love that atonal bleep patch, very snake-like. That shuffle part is sweet too, really intense feel to it.
I really like the dissonance here! I feel like this is an awesome evolution of your style, with a little more rough edges. Nice work man!!!

I actually like listening to that patch than the rest of the track!

Oh man it's been a while since I've listened to Perfume! But I couldn't think of any track that this reminds me of...

Rough edges or general wb malaise?

I really like the "atonal" stuff. Did you get that by playing notes and then dialing in a detune or something?

LOL so hard at this - this immediately makes me want to replay MGS2 (WB confessions, I've never played MGS3 but I really need to replay 1 & 2 and go through the rest of the series)
ah the classic "noise into sample and hold" trick, never fails to satisfy!

It's just a really simple Sytrus patch. Most of the properties in the envelope section can be articulated by a random mapping, so in this case every trigger generates a completely different tone. Maybe next time I'll try quantizing the random mapping to a chord, although the envelope doesn't snap nicely to note values.

Lol, Sytrus doesn't have a "sample and hold" function, but that's exactly what I was going for!
