Track for an indie game that was never completed. Reworked and turned into a pure Sytrus track! If the developer sees enough gifs posted, he might finish the game!

They're both kinda fast, but none of them are as smart as this song.

This is perfect video game music, I feel like a lot of your tracks would be. Do you do game music for work or was it just like a one off thing?

Thanks! The original version of this was written in 2015. A short demo was made, but I'm not sure if it's up anywhere though. I wish more of the games I work on could be this fun!
I'm the lead audio engineer at a small game studio, so composition is only part of my job. I occasionally do stuff for indie devs when I have time, but I don't know how much of that actually gets published. Sometimes I'll license out my WB tracks for indie games!

SO smooth. This is awesome. All the synths are so tasteful!
What is the main synth that goes through most of the first part of song?

Oh hai, it's 100% Sytrus!

The patch name is Soft Padder, I made the patch a long time ago, before I got really good at Sytrus, I would have done it differently now. I'm not a fan of the "Pluck" feature in Sytrus, I'd rather just self modulate a sine operator and could have skipped the filter sweep and envelope the modulation instead for pure FM. It sounds lush because of the 4 voice polyphony unison is just a clean way of getting stereo chorus. The pitch slides on the chords is also always pleasing!
The link to the project is at the top of the page, feel free to check it out and grab that patch! The project should work fine in demo versions of FlStudio as well.
