A holiday song for my bunnies! Oscar bunny is recovering from some health issues, but we think he'll be healed by Christmas!
I was surprised I could make a halfway decent sleigh-bell patch with a single Sytrus instance!

Those bells are really well done indeed. Maybe you can pitch them up a touch, but it's accurate. I suppose the owl is Sytrus too?

Thanks! Sytrus doesn't have a lot of options for changing the length of envelopes within the patch itself, but luckily the unison feature has randomize envelope length function that I was able to use to get the effect. I thought I was going to have to make a custom Patcher patch to trigger many instances of Sytrus, this was way easier!

I agree, I used a recording for reference, which it's pretty close to, but I also wanted to keep it in tune with the melody, but this won't be the last of the bells this year!

The owl, and 39 tracks this year is 100% Sytrus! (the owl actually came from AbraCadávera but is a holiday owl now!)

It's really not that complicated, and there isn't any frequency modulation going on, just good use of envelope tricks and unison!

Aww thanks! I tried really hard for it to not be completely depressing, as Oscar is having a rough time. But we think he's getting better!
Beautiful and somber seasonal sounds. Maybe we are all Oscar this year. I thought I heard an owl hooting outside the window in the middle and end. That can be good for Oscar's psyche. Hopefully it was a turtle dove cooing

He's doing great! Very happy, eating well, and running around! Still needs to get used to his changed leg, but it doesn't seem to stop him!
