Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Got some awesome rhythms here! Almost all of the synths here are percussive, so they lend themselves to beat repeating so easily. Also, very appropriate gif for the long weekend! Keep up the good work!!
This is like Donkey Kong Country's calypso boogie on a pad smashing diet!!! (not sure if that make sense)

Great track! Definitely a glitched out SNES cart of Donkey Kong Country. Love the steel drums.
That pad 1/3 of the way in, along with the breakdown feel there, it really opens up the track, well done. Some of the other synth sounds are very 80's, and I don't mean the video game-ish stuff. Just a very 80's pop feel undercurrent to it that works surprisingly well. Always such good compositional skills :]
