This is musik like a "Kraftwerk". Very powerful and mindblowing. Love your suprising tracks every week.
Gotta love those syncopated shifts. Nicely layered.
Impressive track. A slightly more grimy 80's vibe than usual

Sure, send me anything... there are also ways to run vsts on mac, plus I'm pretty sure there are a couple tape emulation plugs for macs as well. Or, just get some cheap tape player at the 2nd hand store! As far as this track goes, I probably would have tossed it if I had started earlier. But generally speaking, I try to work fast, and kill the babies that don't quite fit what I'm going for. I also study tracks that I want to learn from, just break it down and try to recreate it best you can. Find production notes, sometimes you can find these on the web for the big producers. Think about the production setup they would use, and try to emulate it. I find this is the best way to learn new styles, it's like studying the masters, all the other artists do it, so why not musicians? And collect! Collect sounds, synths, presets, plugins, production tips, save the fx chains that you like, collect songs you like a bit from, then you have a large pool of resources and inspiration you can pool from quickly. Rinse and repeat!

Love the sounds in this. The shifting synthy part is awesome and that live drum sequence even better! Every week man, killer tracks!
Wow. Those LFO's! All with plugs or with a mixture of gear? Digging it!
