high tide, shorebirds

ambient drone lullaby. lap harp, ebow, contact microphone, effects pedals, and field recordings. birds. marbled godwits at the water's edge. the sea restless after storms and rains.

sounds like the closing credits of a really emotional film.  nice work.  marbled godwits sounds like what you say when you slam the car door on your hand.  smile

Wow very beautiful. Do you record the lap harp outside or atmo only and then play inside?

so far, only the field recordings have been made outside; all instruments are in the studio. but you've given me an idea: bring the lapharp and record everything while out and about, using my H5.
