Chaotic M8 tracker only direct render.

Playing around with the microtonal/scale features, started liking these basslines in muppet's accurate Hirajoshi scale.

wow didn't know some of those sounds were possible on the M8 particularly around 3:33.  Nice sound design

Thanks, but I must acknowledge that most of the sounds are presets from others tweaked a little, think there's a couple of impbox instruments, and what you're referring to is a factory instrument I think ('digibass 2')

Well done. My favorite of the WB week 1 drops I have heard so far! I didn't know the Hirajōshi scale, gotta study that one – the intervals seems to be close to equal temperament, or perhaps my ears are not sharp enough to pick up on the variance. Anyway, the scale works well in this piece! Enjoyed the UK dubstep drum programming style too. Nice Wiley-esque bass line incoming @ 3:20 mark.

Dang the grooves are all over the place here! Haha
Bass is thumping. Super interesting and entertaining.

Well fancy seeing you here heart this is proper evil sounding and I'm here for it

I like the way it changes as time goes on, unexpected rhythm, enjoyed it

Dark robot carnival castle music. I didn't know I needed this until now.

Agh, accientally removed Bryface's comment mentioning something similar.
Yeah, the groove switches between a pretty straight 4 to some triplet rhythm (that I started banging out when trying to sleep at like 3am...) that was the starting point of the whole track, then nudged to fit in with swung groove of the rest of the track... was never quite sure if I was forcing it or not but I like it I think?

Gonna go ahead and melt my own head with some 4:5:3 tracker tick math this week I think...

Bopping beat!

Very nice track! I also like the groove, did you just do it via the groove page in m8?

this is like sugar, Love it

Thanks! heart

Yeah, the kicks are on a triplet groove with a couple of DLYs and everything else is 5:7 swing

that's a hot drop my friend
cool push / swing feel to it all
