Tapestry

This week I tried working out how iHz gets such lyrical performances out of wavsynth, and I'm still parsing through the bundles from Disposable Planet's M8 album (protip: go get it).
So this track started with one goal: pack a wavsynth melody with as much expression as I could manage. But wavsynth turned out to be a lot more versatile than I'd originally thought ("NES/DMG waveforms == just for chiptune, right?") and things got carried away. Now I have a 6½ minute WB track and have run out of phrases! The project went off proper chiptune rails almost immediately, and I never came close to figuring how to sing like iHz.
All sounds (except some drum samples) were made from scratch using the M8's on-board synths.
100% made and mixed on a Dirtywave M8 Tracker.
