One-Page Dungeon Synth

By ineff on June 16, 2024 7:08 am

Made for a dungeon synth-themed community Jam on the Dirtywave discord.  TTRPG ready!  If you have the M8 bundle, you can play through each level in a TTRPG while looping the song island that starts at the corresponding song row.

100% made on Dirtywave M8 tracker

Thé first minute sounds like a huge beast breathing slowly, maybe asleep. You keep a similar rhythm later but it slowly evolves as other instruments come in and echo the breath like effect and respond to it.

The mystery you introduce from 2:30 is very cinematic. I feel like holding my breath, as we’re tiptoeing along a dark corridor.

The final section from 3:50 is dramatic and full of energy, we’re running Dow the corridor, away, away from something that does not seem to let go.

Great track! Favoriting this one!

Saw the maps on M8 discord, love the song island/level concept. Really good work on the cinematic atmosphere for the early levels! And the final level is super dope, sounds straight of an OST.

I love this concept. The song is very cinematic, even if the maps themselves seem tricky to consolidate into a cohesive story.
