I'm always impressed with the last minute stuff people seem to be able to put out in an extremely limited time and this is no exception.  Seems like a good use of an hour to me.

The sliding synth washed in reverb has such a Risk of Rain vibe that I super appreciate. The rhythm of that opening melody also sets a great foundation for the track.

What the entire hell... you made this in an hour? I'm super impressed - it sounds super good! I especially love the lower volume melody bits (like in the beginning). It really gives a sense of distance. Nice job!

Next time, try not telling anyone how long it took you. Just post and fight that "oh no, if only I had a week" feeling. Just write, like, "rockin' some wavsynth" and see what the reactions will be. This takes effort because 100% of musicians I know have made a comment about "need to fix X" bullshit that everyone learns to ignore.

The results will surprise you, and most likely not for the reasons that you would imagine (wouldn't be much of a surprise then!)

Intro / opening is SICK AF. The flute (ya know the one) writing is great, and the emergence of plinky dreamlike arps is badass.

I really dug this. The synths sounds in the beginning are nice and round. And I like the bass synth. The track has a good rhythm and grooves nicely.
