The M8 got a firmware update this week, so I thought I'd try something using the new DIGITAL MOD and FLUTED modes for macrosynth.

I've been working my way through the demo songs that come with the M8 and the fantastic .m8s bundles that come with from Disposable Planet's album Raktajino A Go Go.  As a result, new techniques have been finding their way in―like the one thing it seems I never really used tables for: arps!  Oh boy, those are fun.  I predict that whatever I do over the next few weeks is going to sound a lot more chiptunerrific.

100% made and mixed on a Dirtywave M8 Tracker.

I really like how wide the mix is. Nice sound palette. Good job.

hey this rules!  the descending slideyness around :28 is a real nice transition into the main theme.  love the sound design throughout - there is a nice balance and variety of details and they all gel.  I want to try all these new macro synths out for this coming week because i still haven't gotten around to updating to 2.6.0 (bundles delayed it).

Speaking of - thanks for checking out the bundles!  Glad you are getting something out of them!

This is really great, every sound is awesome. Lovely use of DIGITAL MOD (I played around w/ it but haven't really done too much) -- is that warm pad-like sound FLUTED (around 1:00 in?)

Short and sweet but a lot of fun with some great sounds and energy.

Sorry I'm so behind! I loved this! I haven't gotten to play with the new M8 firmware yet but now I really want to. I especially liked the tempo speed-up at the beginning. Awesome work!
