Reflection Chamber (Part 1)

This track, I've used some of my own samples that were provided to Beat Collective for a challenge that I didn't end up participating in... I'm going to start running out of Beat Collective samples soon smile

I've worked on a fair few parts in the track, and some of them didn't fit in the first 3-4 mins, and if I wanted to include them, it'd be too abrupt, so I've decided to (in my 2024 style) complete and drop a first movement of 3 mins for this week, and keep working on the second (and maybe third) movements for upcoming weeks.

Great job! I really like that resonant synth, and those polyrhythms are awesome.

This one is great. Well done!

There's a bit of a Monument Valley feel to the initial synth harmonies with delay and reverb. Then you move into more chillout EDM territory, let's see what part 2 brings.

Agree with dadboy - the resonant lead is lovely (as is the classic analogue-sounding pad that shows up), and all the stereo chime sounds and percussion are bubbly and urgent but subdued. It builds in a nice, sneaky way, giving the impression that there's more to come (which, I suppose, the "Part 1" does a little more explicitly, but still). Oh at the end I finally noticed the pulsing bass!! COOOL
