Okay ... so, I thought to myself, why have I never used an 808, I always wanted to try it... and boy, it really took this weeks track in a completely different direction from my usual. Took a bit extra work for me to get the mix to not sound like rubbish too as soon as I started pumping the compression ... nice little experiment and nice to practice mixing a different style.. not that I really know what the style is, "Let me know in the comments!"
