Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Made some animal field recordings in a nearby park at night.
Had a go at doing something a bit drum and bassy, using the field recordings and old rompler (SK-88 Pro) sounds into the Octatrack.
Was a bit rushed this week and don't think it really sounds like my style, but was still fun to make.

That old trumpet sound is so nostalgic. This whole track reminds me of a PS1 rpg game!
The SK88 pulls a lot of weight here. When I think of the "SoundCanvas" series, I have a certain flavor in mind that is impossible to get rid of. This track doesn't sound like that.
The slow instrument arrangement against the rushing breakbeat is an unexpected juxtaposition!
