Endless Rain

By impbox on March 6, 2022 11:46 pm

Rushing something out the door this week, not much to it.

It's been raining here pretty much constantly for a few weeks and no end in sight.

Composed on M8 controlling JD-08 via midi.

Very nice and moody track! I like how the opening catches your attention right away, and the journey that follows. Some great sounds here, I want a JD08 now!

Great, melancholy yet groovy. I can sense a bit of the big beat track you wanted to make on the drums big_smile Really love that bass that comes in at 1:20, actually all the timbres in play here are nice.

I was going to ask if this had any of the big beat sketches but @ddmm64 beat me to it. big_smile

I really like the simple sounds breaking it down around 1:20, getting some Disasterpeace vibes, too. heart

love it! sounds like a feature-length cartoon movie scene or something. I think thats down to the sound source being firmly rooted in that area. great job.

cool crazy arps in the beginning. felt a bit too flushed and windy at first but on second listen it's fine and actually quite charming. gives the rainy vibes. agree with the fellas about when the bass kicks in, really nice journey.

A drizzle of good sounds. The cool drums, the thick synths, the delightful pianos.

super impressive for rushing it out the door! i'm finally catching up on listening to various tracks, and returning the kind favor for those who've listened to mine (like you!). playing with the indie game vibes i see from your website, i coudl see this for a game where you play a raindrop that tries to land on soil to grow plants, using umbrellas or other obstacles as bounce points, and trying to avoide the sewer drain which just sends you back to the ocean before you can help plants grow
