Beneath the Skin

Been going to a lot of hip-hop type events lately and been inspired to do more scratching again. I ended up picking up a Reloop Spin (portable turntable with built-in fader) to listen to vinyl and get back into scratching.
I also gifted myself a Wirehead Instrument's Freaq FM kit and assembled that which was a lot of fun, it's a generative sequencer with a 2 voice 2 op 8 bit FM synth.

Octatrack for drums, Reloop Spin for live scratching into the OT which is doing looping and amp LFO to fake fader technique, Freaq FM through Octatrack FX for the synths, recorded live into the M8.

Scratching my itch.

scratchtastic
but it could probably do with more scratching

Wow....wowowowowowowowowowerchawawachha!

Mysterious tones, and the title reminded me of Under The Skin, a weird slow-paced movie where the men weren't actors (so filmed a bit like Borat but this one's not a comedy). I think your music would fit that film, too.

i really like the scratching and i like that you actually performed it instead of using a sample or something. sounds great! nice track, looking forward to more
