The mistakes are what makes it good, alive.

Even the default ableton click track has been left in. Mind blown when it double tempo... then it is gone!. I should have listen to the instruments and what was really going on instead of the click track. lol.

The different elements coming in are a lot of fun and I think the one take at a time method with mistakes included creates a loose feel that's appealing.

Very very nice, both ominous and fun at the same time, which is a killer combo.

Needs more cowbell.

Ha ha... "mistakes left in, but eqed and limited "for professionalism." - story of my life.

Love that casio-like pcm beat! How you doing that bendy filter stuff in the second half? Really cool sound manipulation.

Welcome back to ilzxcbeats―here comes a new challenger: the metronome! heart

It was funny and clever to open a one-man jam track with that sound, but having it jump in with its own accented rhythm was brilliant (and hilarious, although my non-musical SO had no idea what I was laughing at).   The vibe between the beat and lead from 1:25 onward creates a very cool and specific aesthetic that fits in perfectly with what i remember of the night town stage (benten-cho?) from the original Jet Set Radio.

Yes please!  When that showed up, it stole the show.

Very cool song, perfect for my morning walk under the sun

You understood to make me smile and shed the lightness of happy music. this confusing experience is bombastic fun. well and smartly done.

I really liked the fun melody at the end! Dope track!

The concept is brilliant, this makes it dangerous and alive. This strange synth introduced around 1:25 has a really nice sound. It's got a lot of character, is extravagant and definitely extravert. I like when the relaxed rhythm comes back to support. Cool track!

love the mistakes (couldn't find any!)

the metronome-as-instrument was hilarious and genius.

LOVE the "scratching" at the end

your wind chimes sound like the exact same scale as mine.  i'll have to record them and compare smile

this is really carefree and fun, i vote: more mistakes please!!!

I concur - makes it for me. Great job

I love how I forgot that the metronome was even a metronome after exactly 2 bars
super smart (as in clever and smart-assed/sarcastic) textural/sonic choices
love the sparse composition.

the wobbly cut up organ/pad toward the end was a real highlight. too cool for school and it just got cooler and cooler. like a movie star I was chasing down for an autograph, getting lost in the crowd, and by the end of the track all I could see was the glimmer of their limo's taillights. can't get enough.

fun with a disco-creepy vibe to it, haha... so good heart

this is super fun - i like the part around :55 & the sort of spooky synth lead that sort of felt like a snake kinda wrapping around the metronome smile & your drum beats are so enjoyable - they sound great in the mix (i was sad to see last week that you had a loss in the family - my condolences to you & your family<3)

Cheers to that. Every mistake is progress.

one take! You've reached weeklybeats-zen!

this is super cool. really funky groove and great sounds

This is dope.  The drums sound tight, and the mood is so inviting, but uneasy.  Love it!

Hey hey yes, nice beat. Metronome means we on point. Professional mistakes, all good. That bassline, dang slinky smooth silky. Yess.

That bass, fine work man! Always nodding to your tracks

I've done way too much sound design editing to enjoy the metronome sound.  Hah.  Was cool when it was changed up though and some nice rinse like tones later with no metronome. smile

Oh man everything sounds so good!
