(super undercooked, runny-eggs-type-beat; busy week)
Sounds:
* bellows (arp sound)
* ooverdrive (sustained lofi bass)
* tumsdums (percussive bass)
* vhsfnnk (cartoony funky sound from the ending)

This week: M8 + Analog Rytm workflow developments, mostly -- the rytm drums are tracked by the M8 (no sequencing / parameter locks) by using midi out w/ AR stereo audio out back to M8 (going the other way doesn't work as well because M8 mixing of line in is superior than AR's). The punchline is: instead of using 4 tracks for drums like I usually do I only used 2 (and could have probably done in 1 if I worked a little bit harder) -- combo of ADD and CHORD commands for MIDI allow multiple triggers. I played around a little bit w/ pitch-tracking rytm sounds via midi but didn't have enough time to develop or use. Lastly, I tested recording MIDI into AR sequences from the M8 and had a better time than I did w/ Tracker and Octatrack, it "just worked" and that's remarkable.
Track: I had those horn chops loop from an old jam on the Polyend Tracker, but being unhappy w/ the tracker, I recreated it on the M8 with hopes to develop it (which I then did not). Analog Rytm patches were more sample-based that previously (did and poorly, both of which used 1-2 samples for layering purposes).
