Pocket Operators played unsequenced into Chase Bliss Blooper + some other bullshit I played on a laptop keyboard. (Ableton Live, NI Massive X, Felt Instruments Lekko).

Please consider helping people who could use your help during these troubling times (link to donate to support Ukrainian PWDs during this crisis).

This piece is really fun - I needed the uplift of the beat!
Thank you so much for the link!

Got this one on loop!!!

I love the POs, totally recognize that sound - PO28 & PO24 maybe? Really nice jam. Is the bass also a PO? Sounds great.

I thought I'm gonna compliment you on the baseline. It's solid. But when it all unfolds at 1:10 I'm dancin'. This has such a Lemonjelly vibe. This is probably my favorite WB track so far. 5/5

Love the bassline and comp line that follows though, with the playful leads around it. Both tight and loose at the same time. Played pocket operators is too cool!

So much to love in this. The warble, the airy textures, the bassline, the percussion & drums keeping it all together just the right amount! Great track

Groovy stuff. Excellent sound design and production work all around. big_smile

That escalated quickly from that demo you sent - love the chonkiness

dope tune, bro! +++

Holy.  The groove hooked me right away.  So good!

this track has a lot of character in it - even the glitches feel chill and cheerful.  Nice work!

that's a mighty sexy bass struttin!

Please please please take care of yourself: named the track eyelids not because closing the eyes feels very honorable, but because sometimes it's the only way to keep on. heart Kindest thoughts your way and thank you for listening like always.

Sorry for not making it longer, shitty couple of a weeks, sometimes a demo's a demo and shorter is better in the world that's overwhelmed with media content.

...That's impressive. it is indeed Megaman (Robot-equivalent) that was used for the sine lead, but I'm more impressed you spotted the OFFICE hat. The glitchy bits at the end are FACTORY (which I forgot to mention can't be played unsequenced while using the chords "*" button, but the glitch is due to Blooper switches, so still live-ish) and I also used TONIC (snares, which are doubled up) -- due to Chase Bliss updating their website, I can't pull wavs directly off the pedal, but am happy to share the bloops once that's fixed. (Or the long-ass recordings, I guess.) The bass is Massive X, just some simple-sound preset tweaked & sweetened with Fabfilter Volcano 3.

Thanks, man -- I think we needed a happier song in light of things, so ... yeah, maybe just good timing? heart

Thank you -- my plans have not been going very well this year so far, but I'd like to take a page from your book where you did several tracks that I keep calling "hifi chiptune music" that would work in an EP... I definitely wanted to do POs + guitar pedals for some time. Really appreciate your encouragement!

Yoh, thanks -- to be honest I'm really surprised by the positivity here, really really appreciate it.

Brother, I've been escalating chonkiness since March of 2020, need to start reducing chonkiness maybe...

Dude, love your work -- need to figure out something hyper-animated in the future, your stuff goes nuts.

Thanks, not a particularly familiar territory for me, and I've had doubts (still have 'em), much appreciated!

Thanks for listening and commenting -- I was going more for like...

Hey, this is an easy kind of feel good and instantly chill music. Love the decent use of effects. The BLOOPER is the NR.1 pedal I was dreaming of, since the were develloping it. It was nice to see how chase bliss engineers worked on that model. But then I decided to buy the MOOD. I think it is not so far away from the BLOOPER. What do you think?

I really adore them both and feel they're non-overlapping -- I think their colors suit them: MOOD is a warm, whimsical, unique little micro-looping thing, whereas BLOOPER's cool blue attire, akin to a (digital) tape machine / stretchy granular thing with a remarkable amount of memory -- I think it's 30-seconds per loop w/ 8 layers that can be navigated across, with 16 slots, a whooping 3840 seconds (64 minutes) of storable sound (at 32 kHz / 24 bit). MOOD's clock is magic, Blooper's most incredulous feature is that once you record a loop its length can not be changed: changing tempo / playback speed / etc tries to "do what's best" and it much more often yields odd cuts and "best effort guesses" that feel like a genuine collaboration. (In short, highly recommended!)

Flutey! This track is alive!!! I love your mix too btw, super clean and well produced!

Great one!, love the groove, killer bassline, and just right little tasty bits sprinkled in for interest, I think I need to play again now! Thanks for posting that link

love how this all comes together!

That's a smooth track, laid back. Like a walk at night with the hands in your pockets, just enjoying the sound of footsteps and the dimlight. I love the eye sounds we can hear around 0:50. Like an electronic bird. The end was great too, super cool track.

that static wind whistle is so good.

the loose shuffle on this is outstanding.  very like, chiptune J Dilla

downloading!

Really neat piece! Nice work smile

Thanks -- absolutely love your tunes and love the fact that even your feedback transforms the tune into a soundtrack of sorts. Thanks a lot for sharing the hands-in-your-pockets-at-night, not an image I considered, but totally works!

You're so kind, and your recent was so clean had me second-guessing how it was made heart big_smile

Gettin' that J'Dilla vibe with the wonky beat going on.  It's refreshing having parts played in real time.

Damn, that bass line had me bopping! Awesome track! Now I want to pull out my Pocket Operators to play with. I have the Mega Man PO-128 too.

when I first listened to this song i had really bad allergies from the pollen outside and my eyelids were getting all crusted together ahahaha. Really cool vibes!  I enjoy your stuff as usual
