This week's a little m8 sequence, sub bass (FAW SubLab) added in Ableton; KORG M1 Gadget's NINJA preset from the "Ethnic 2" ROM is one of the more animated lead sounds. Vocals are done with the Speak Pocket Operator kinda at the last minute. The big bad bass is M8.

i believe the technical description of a track like this is BUMPIN

hell yeah

"gimme!"
Love that ball dropping thing. This whole track is super interesting.

The contrast between the 'waterdrops' and the bass is great. The vocals are great too.

This track goes hard! The beats, the vocals, the sound choices, yeah boi!

dope

Yes, moving beat for sure.

I'm so glad to see fellow technically-oriented musicians here giving technical feedback, tip-o-the-hate! smile

Thank you! Trying not to overshare about how antagonizing was the decision to keep the water drops part bare w/o adding anything, but you know how it goes sometimes.

Thanks -- the original vocal was "in a circle spun, son" but cut-up does sound undeniably like "gimme" and that's a happy accident. Appreciate your interest!

Aw man thanks, feels good to make a thing that yields a "yeah boi" smile

Thanks for mentioning the drip-drop aspect, was "a risk" (meaning I wasn't sure) so super helpful to hear it (at the very least) wasn't a miss! Cheers!

Yeaaaah, I really like TNGHT... It took considerable restraint to not go CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE all Dollaz on that tune. smile Thanks for listening!

I'm just a sad man hoping for an entertaining mid-life crisis. Thanks for listening to my stuff, man.

You're super creative. I love your mix too, they're really tight, everything feels right in all your tracks. And again crazy good sound design. To answer your previous question, yes everything I have here was made on the m8. I was suprised by some of the sounds you coaxed out of the m8. I love the texture and all the wetness, bubbles and warps of you samples too. I ought to try to make non-chip music with the m8, but it's been a massive nostalgic throwback and I'm just having fun making bleep bloop! Do you have a bandcamp? I think I've found your soundcloud, but it seems you've not been active there for a while. I'm looking forward to listen to your upcoming stuff! Cheers! And thanks for all the lovely comments heart heart heart

Thank you for your kindness! I do not have any experience making chiptune music, but I hope to change that sometime this year (I feel there's a lot of really remarkable chiptune people here w/ an incredible attention to detail--like you and your delightful tunes). I don't have a bandcamp -- that old soundcloud is, unfortunately, what happened w/ life. But WB is changing that, I think. Excited to have discovered your music and looking forward to hearing more of your work! heart

coooooool

this is sharp as a scalpel. I can imagine a scenery in an operation-room, everyone on drugs!!!

Bouncy!! Love the vocal samples.
