I mean this:
I've experimented quite a lot with 'odd' beats, and usually making a new time signature means merely adding or substracting some steps from the 4 * 4 (* 4...) grid.
Unless we're talking swing which is basically an LFO on the BPM.
So I could have say 17 steps instead of 16, for example, or 13.
Only in this case I didn't, the pattern is 64 steps long and as every 4th step is highlighted, you can see that even most of the sounds are played "on the dot".
It's just the steps like 51 and 59 that throw you off, really It's just groove
