Your musical bus has once again produced some smooth low-bitrate percussive, melodic goodness!
seeing some very compelling reasons here to give caustic a try. super dig the droney idm stylings here. how long did it take you to write this one? (i'm asking mainly to get a sense of how quick caustic's workflow might be)

One day (= 2 bus rides = a bit over an hour) to get the core loop (one beat + pads + bass + plucky melody)
3 weeks of doing nothing with it
1 solid evening (4 or 5 hours) of laying out the song structure, adding more elements in, adding variety, breaks and automation
Mazut (wb week 3) I made over 3 days almost exclusively on the bus, so pretty similar.
The workflow is quite similar to Reason
oh man this sounds GREAT. I didn't know Caustic was this nice. Some of the kicks almost sound nanoloop-ish. good work!
ah that poppy sounding percussion combined with the pads make for such a great combination
Oh man. Love the ring mod pad, the glitchy percussion, clean sub-bass...great arrangement. Outstanding.
