Made using two pocket operators, a monotron, and way too many Amazon reviews. Also, is it "rechargable" or "rechargeable" seriously, I just don't know anymore.

Panasonic Eneloops bro with the BQ-CC17 Ni-MH recharger and never look back.  Feel free to buy cheapo imitation batteries for AAA batts for like remote controls or clocks.  You'll want the real deal Eneloops in a video game controller or CD player or computer mouse, etc.
