Really Corny

By hypnogram on February 11, 2018 7:15 am

In my continued attempt to actually explore major scale tonality some more, I wrote the most cheesy song I possibly could. Limiting myself to diatonic chords only with no accidentals in the melodies at all. I also used some tropes that I thought were pretty corny as well, just to see how far I could push this idea.

Cheesy but real groovy, I love it!

that dub groove... all the panning, making me dizzy... the key change... this is the pinnacle.

honestly, the melody is good. there are some transitions and little inflections you've done here that i've always wanted to try!
good work, hypnotoad, i want your posters on my wall

hehehe maximum cheese achieved. technically excellent........ technically tongue

what is this, dig-dug?

lol das dat corny sheeettt

I think you're pulling off major rather well smile Love the solo topping it off. And the *double* upward modulation, haha. Talk about tropes.
You used some reverb? It sound so spacious.

I mean, I guess it's cheesy but I enjoyed it.

If this is corny, I'll take the popcorn.
