Wrote most of this song on the way to Magfest, finished it up in the hotel Saturday morning, and due to some extra time during my set, went ahead and played it right then and there. Written in LSDj for the Nintendo Gameboy.

THICC BASS and surprise minor chordsss. I am feelin it!!

Oh fuck yeah. Hits soooo hard. smile gotta see the sav for this.

Hahaha yes

good ole hypno big_smile that lead with the diminished theme is awesome.  the breakdown is unexpected too!

Pretty Heavy

Tough stuff!!!!

Nice and thick. Glad that there was a tempo change.

Blast off!!!

OH YES LSDJ MASTERY

That build-up is so smoothly done, as well as the sound design itself heart

Thick! Could be used instead of a butter. Nom-nom.

That is so damn hefty heart

Seriously is this only LSDJ?  One GB?  This is insanely huge!

WOW MAN THIS IS AWESOME!

I want to try my hand in lsdj or maybe a custom renoise/emulator this year, and this track pushes my envy motivator button

Oh man - was go glad to be there at your set. This track was awesome.

I don't know what "go glad" means. But keep making that magic happen good sir heart.

questioned reality when you dropped this during the set.  that snare mixed with the sampled chords is truly next level!  and that electro breaks section in the middle is hype as all get out.  glad you shared this one with the rest of us!

This is fire, man. Would love to hear this live!

Killed me! In a good way. smile

Thank you for listening and all the kind words everyone heart I hope I can stick it out with you folks longer than I did last time.

God, I was so nervous about how this was going to sound on the PA there. I'm glad I took the risk though. It was very nice meeting you too. Your set was fantastic and inspiring heart

I think you'd have a lot of fun with it. There's a lot of interesting quirks to the hardware/software even if the GUI is a bit much to get used to.

Yeah, just one gameboy wink There's a little post-processing: gentle reverb on the mid-to-high stuff, eq to cut the extreme highs and lows, and some compression preset that sounded okay since I'm ignorant of how all that works. I don't usually handle that end of things myself, so I tend to go pretty lightly with it.

If there was a tempo change it was due to processor load changes, I think haha. Pretty sure I didn't program one in.

Tempo as in..1/2 time snare placement vs.when the track picks up.

Man, you killed me with those sick chords. Sounded like some Amiga .mod through amazing distortion. Still amazing to think this is just ONE Gameboy.
