Wobbly Empire

I had wanted to take this a *little* bit further (a perennial wb refrain no doubt,) and I'd also made it awkward to arrange because of some early decisions. Even so I think it has something so in the end this is a "live" take with a couple of edits. I like the slightly scrappy feel that gives it.

GREAT beat and slower melody on top. hypnotic.

what is your secret to these sick drums? i suppose it's a version of amen break chopping??? sorry if dumb question

the break on the shaker is sick
love this reversed sample
enjoying the spooky groove heart
very interesting tones and textures everywhere and this detuned lead is no exception. Good job separating everything in the mix/panning
the little happy chippy transitions contrast really nicely with the detuned tension on the rest of the track

Love the energy of those layered breaks and shakers, especially while they play against the much slower melodic elements.  The percs that fire up immediately after the ~2:30  lull sound almost live.  Also dug the trippy chippy effects during the outro, alongside the faint Think shouts cool

This is so groovy. The elements all compliment and contrast each other so well! I love how the atmosphere slowly builds.

love the beat, nice jungle chops, nice collection of percussive sounds!
