I am unsure if you were trying for a Carpenter sound but this track give off such strong vibes of his early 80's work, Christine especially.  I mean this as the highest compliment, few people can pull it off.  The rhythm, the discordance, it all sounded really good.  Excellent work.

Frankly, this piece mostly just happened because I was toying around with the Jacob Collier Audience Choir plugin and it evolved from that although I also got inspired by the Dune soundtrack because I've been listening to it in the last few days.
