Fuckedup jazz tune / improvisation because it's the jazz festival here. I developed a bit of a 2-note theme, after 10 takes - this is what you can hear in the main submission.

You can also hear the very first take in the unlisted youtube video below.

I struggled to follow this drum track - again it's from Bernard Purdie Master Drummers vol 2, but I later realized it's actually not exactly 100% on time, sometimes it does a little hit and then changes the groove. The point of the record was to use it as breakbeats on turntables and repeat sections on purpose I guess. But I just used the track as is, cause I don't have time for more today.

So even tho I was not very tight on the timing a bunch of times, the track itself doesn't have consistent time, I am sure of it. But I don't have time to go again so this is my submission for this week.

I thought it was funny that I lost my headphones halfway thu in the first take, luckily the speakers were on as well, albeit quite softly so I still had monitoring - so you are not hearing me play without sound hehe.

Here is the 1st take on video, I did about 17 takes in total.

cheers dogs

Jazz yeah!

Love the walking bass with nice swing drums. I'd love to have this into my vocabulary. I'll most likely try one "jazzy ish" track this year.

Quick n dirty! (as are your very cool organs)
